I encountered the same issue 2 weeks ago, and I did managae to solve it. Please try these steps:

1. Update your Spotify client. Mine is 1.0.74.380.g1fcff12a at the moment. It might save you the next step!

To do this, go to HELP > ABOUT SPOTIFY and see if there's a white link next to version number.

2. This is what I did to help. It's a little hard to describe, but I'll try:

- Drag a track to the top of the list of your playlist. There's a good chance that you can add the track to the first few playlists, but not all. Keep dragging. Do not drop.

- Now start unlocking the playlists one by one. Keep dragging the track, hovering your cursor over playlists and moving up and down until you see that "no entry" icon disappear and your playlist highlighted normally.

- Keep doing this until you get rid of that stupid bug.

I know it sounds weird, but knowing a little about the logic behind software and how they manage lists, I decided to give it a try and it worked.

Same issue. MacOS. Both the os and spotify up to date.

Can drag the artist(s) and the album of now playing song though, but not the song/title itself...
