My Question or Issue

A while back I think I changed the email address linked to my account or something, or probably what I did was link a couple of accounts or whatever, and what that did was change my username to a random string of letters and numbers. It's been like that for a while, and I want to change it, but right now I don't have a smartphone, just a laptop pc. I want to know how to change my username from the Windows 10 app, or at least, gather some explanation as to why the Spotify Windows program prevents users from changing their designated username.

As far as I can tell, there is no fix for this and Spotify doesn't intend to change it. I have the same issue, and it gets irritating when I want to look at a playlist's runtime but my random username is too long for me to see the time. This needs to be fixed. There is no good reason for a bug like this to exist on Spotify.
