Click New Playlist in the menu on the left.

Just joined. Want to make a playist on my desktop. It says in the directions to 

1. Click New Playlist in the menu on the left.

Nothing on the left says that. Don't see anythign under any of the topics. Am I missing something? What to do? Thanks.

There is nothing, per the directions, that says "New Playlist" on the left
as it instructs for desktop playlists.

Are you using the Spotify web player in your browser?

If you click on the "your music" tab in the sidebar, you should then see a green "new playlist" button in the top right corner.

Yes. Gave up. Doing Amazon music for less money. No issues.
