Connecting to chromecast only on phone

Samsung Galaxy 8 and Windows 10 x64

Ok this is not big issue, but can only connect and adjust volume from phone app

Once that is done can see computer (even if I am sitting at computer connecting by phone)

Computer App can skip songs, pause, and even disconnect from chromecast; but no volume control except phone app.

Is there a way around this?

To confirm, are you not seeing the option to change volume on the desktop, or are you seeing it but unable to control the volume when connected to Chromecast?

If possible, we would be grateful if you could attach a screenshot showing us what you mean, if that is convenient.
