Cut "feature" not working still in 2022

Cut "feature" not working still in 2022

I know the Spotify team is aware that the cut option is no longer working, but come on guys, this issue has been around since June 2021.

Why won't you just let the already working "feature" be there? It's such a small thing, I don't understand why you did that and why you removed the possibility to add the "ui.experience_override="classic" in the prefs.

In another thread you asked to copy and paste, and works indeed, but that's not a cut option, which was way faster and better to manipulate playlists. Please prioritize it because it was something that used to work in the past. I know you value User Experience, so listen to thousands of people complaining about it. Thanks!

Hey @henriquebs12,

Thanks for posting about this in the Community!

We understand that the 'Cut' functionality is being missed by you and other users of the app. We'll bring this up with the right folks again, but we can't promise it will be prioritized as there's quite a few other things in the pipeline right now.

It seems that other Community users have already gathered to vote about this situation in our Idea Exchange here. Perhaps you can also leave your +VOTE and additional feedback there too. Note that even if a suggestion didn't gather enough votes in order to get prioritized and was marked as 'Closed',  you can still add your vote and comments there and we'll look into it once the idea reaches the required amount of votes.

You'll also find all the relevant info about our Idea Exchange and how the Community feedback gets implemented here if you'd like to know more about the topic.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
