DRM protected local files playback on Spotify

Is there any way to get Spotify to play local files I've purchased from iTunes that are randomly DRM protected? Not all of my iTunes purchases are this way, but a decent amount of them are and won't connect with Spotify. I figured a work around would be to burn all of those tracks onto a disc and then ripping them onto my desktop again from the CD as regular MP3 files, but that would take quite a bit of time, so I was hoping there was faster way.

I'd recommend installing (or updating) Quicktime for DRM-protected files to play.
