Dear Spotify it is 2018. Why is your Windows version still so sluggish?

Hello, 

my hardware is capable of running modern games with 120fps+ on fullHD. Ryzen 1700x paired with a GTX1080. Yet my computer is struggling to handle Spotify and dont tell me to delete cache files or remove some folders to scan because I already did all of it. It is the program which doesn't utilize system resources properly or maybe is too bloated because of the chromium framework. I don't know. I am not a programmer. All I know is that it provides a bad user experience and it feels like playing on a console with a ping of 500ms with 15fps. Not to mention the wasted space on the UI, why does each song need so much space in a list? Also features that got cut. Notifications about new songs and albums from artists I follow. Yes we got the Release Radar playlist but that is hardly a comparable replacement. 

Competitors are catching up and Spofity shouldn't lay back. Instead you should step up your game to improve the quality and performance of the client.

The mac version used to be incredible smooth and fast, but yesterday update made it impossible to use. Scrolling takes up to 3 seconds to respond, and the same goes for changing tracks.

How the **bleep** something as lightweight as a music player can be this slow. At least I could restore my Spotify version using OSX Time Machine, I could recomend finding an older version and see if that solves your problem too.
