Desktop App Constantly Skips Songs with no keys being pressed

My Question or Issue

I've had Spotify the same way on this computer for about 4 years, it only started going haywire about 4 months ago and I've spend countless hours on every forum trying out new ways to fix my issues and nothing so far has worked. Please let me know if there's anything else I should try thank you guys 🙂

I have tried to

1. reinstall
2. restart
3. java and flash
4. hardware acceleration
5. clearing API 
6. clearing caches
7. messing with control pannel logging in and out 
8. etc.
