Desktop overlay is turned on automatically when starting Spotify

Desktop overlay is turned on automatically when starting Spotify

I don't know since when this is happening, but I have turned off the overlay option in the settings and the slider actually shows "off".

When I start Spotify the overlay is there again until I go to the settings and turn the overlay option on and off again. This happens every single time spotify is closed and started again.

It is rather annoying that the setting is not being saved correctly or applied propperly.

Same Problem, so annoying!

W10 (Version 1803) and Spotify version 1.0.81.325.g17f71170

FYI: the windows store version of spotify is essentially exactly the same as the original desktop version, and it does not have this bug.

Same problem here... Version 1.0.82.447.g975ad224 (Windows 10)

same version, same problem

Same issue:

1.0.82.447.g975ad224

I am having the same issue. Very annoying when it pops-up on your working screen. You have to wait for it to disappear before continuing your work. Even though the slider bar is set to off, it comes on each time you start the computer and the slider bar still says "off".

Same issue, seems like a simple tweak in the code

+1, annoying issue please fix.

Also currently experiencing this issue. Toggling the option on then off again fixes it, but very annoying to have to do it everytime I open the desktop application.

On Windows 10, version 1.0.82.447.g975ad224

Same issue here on Windows 10 and this version : 1.0.82.447.g975ad224

Same problem with version 1.0.82.447.g975ad224 (Win 10)

Please fix this asap, since it is super annoying while working.

Been noticing this lately, too.

It only pops up on a multiple screen setup, on the main screen when Spotify is on another screen.

Toggling the option in settings on/off fixes it, but it comes back after restarting.

Quite annoying having it block top left portion of the main screen when I've disabled the feature in settings!

This is a regression.

Version 1.0.82.447.g975ad224.

Same ... this is really annoying
