Devices not showing up on desktop version

I have spotify premium and I live in the US. I have a Dell latitude laptop and an iPhone 13 (ios 15.4.1). When I play songs on my iPhone, the desktop version does not show the current song playing. When I play songs on my desktop, it does not update on my phone.

Under devices, my phone does not show up as an option. I cannot control the music on my phone with the desktop version. On my phone, the desktop also doesn't show up as a device. 

They are both signed into the same account. Both the spotify on the desktop and the app on my phone have been removed, redownloaded, and updated. 

However, I can sign into the spotify webplayer (with the same account) and it recognizes my phone as an alternate device. With the webplayer, I am able to switch between my phone and the webplayer (the desktop does not show up as an option though). As a result, I think the desktop version is the problem. I'm not sure what else I can do since I already uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and signed into the same account. It does not say I need an update either.

This might be caused by corrupted cache on one of your devices. We'd recommend reaching out to our customer support team, through one of the channels here, and request that they clear your Offline devices. They'll be able to help you further with this after they verify you as the account owner.
