Display name not showing in desktop app

a month or two ago, I noticed that on the Windows 10 desktop app, it was showing my given username instead of my chosen display name. It used to show my display name until recently so I don't know what's going on. It still shows my display name on my iOS app, but I almost exclusively use the desktop app so I honestly don't care what the iOS app is showing.

I'm on an ASUS ROG laptop running Windows 10. I have Spotify Free with an email-based account (I do not have a Facebook account at all)
