Does Anything Work?

Does Anything Work?

My Question or Issue

Having to use the Windows 10 desktop app as the website as the Spotify web player ALWAYS states 'something has gone wrong'. At least the website allows you to use your robot to autofill complex passwords which the app doesn't. Login is a manual click, click, click... task and a pain.

Created a playlist and named it A.

Searched for Ash There's A Star Anything more complex than a few characters is lost!

Open the list of tracks.

No sorting allowed so that's a step backwards!

The track plays when clicked.

Cannot add it to playlist using the right click or ... option as it states the song is duplicated.

Click on the playlist and it states it is currently empty.

Close then reopen and no playlist exists.

Just tried to see how Deezer compared to others. Clearly it is miles beyond the opposition.

If Spotify can't do the basics then what is it for exactly?

Hey there @AnnieBody,

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

Can you try to perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

When it comes to the web player, can you try in a incognito/private window to see if the issue persist?

It would also be great if you can let us know which version of the app you have?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
