Embedding Spotify playlists in my website for nothing?

Hi, 

I want to keep track of my favourite artists, albums and tracks so I keep embedded playlists in my website that I can go to whenever i feel without having to go through thousands of albums... you can check it here: https://portcorner.com/journal/?category=4.

Problem is that even with my spotify desktop player open, the button is really unreliable,

first: it doesnt always play... so basically nothing happens...

second: when it plays he asks me if i want to open the player or register... when in fact i already have the player open and i'm signed in...

- why is this proving to be a pain?

- looking at what I'm doing with my website, am i better off with another music service?
