Extra Songs added to Playlist

I just joined Spotify. And I am a premium user. I am trying to make playlists and every time I add a song it adds every remix by every DJ on the planet (Yes I am exaggerating). But seriously, it adds like 3 or 4 or more versions at one time. I do not want every version in existence. I want the version I added and only that version.  And seriously,  I actually don't have the time to go back and delete a hundred versions I didn't want to begin with. I just want the versions I want. 

How can I prevent this from happening? I a currently on a Windows 10 desktop running the app.

Can you start off by logging in on your Account page and going to ''Apps'' in the menu on the left side? 

There you can see all third party apps that are connected to your account and we'd recommend that you "Remove Access" for the apps that you don't recognize.

It's also a good idea to clear your cache with the steps here.
