Facebook connect error and collaborative not working.

When I try to connect Facebook in the Spotify desktop app (Windows) I get an error every time. I have already worked through the typical troubleshooting steps. Also, when I send the invite collaborators link to my friend he is unable to add songs to the playlist.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

In this case, can you send us a screenshot of the error you received when trying to connect your account to Facebook? It'll also help us if you send us the exact troubleshooting steps you've already tried, so we avoid repeating any steps.

Note: Be aware this is a public space, so please don't share any personal info on the screenshot you'll send us.

On another note, is this happening if you change the internet connection you're using? Is this happening over WiFi? Ethernet? Both? If possible, you can create a hotspot from your phone and connect your computer to it, to see if you notice any difference. Give it a try and let us know if changing the connection makes any difference.
 

Regarding the collaborative playlists link, we'd suggest your friend follow these steps:

1. Send the link to your friend to invite them to collaborate.
2. Instruct your friend to copy that link.
3. Once they've copied the link, they have to paste it directly into the app's search bar on their mobile device and hit search.
4. Then, they'll see the playlist and the option to start adding songs to it.

Keep in mind, your friend has to hit "search", so the app can search for the playlist. Let us know how it goes.
