How to change the Video quality on desktop app?

The video quality looks terrible, looks likes its playing in 480p.

Thanks for reaching out. On mobile you can change the video quality within the app settings. On Desktop, there are no dedicated settings for this, so the app will try and play the highest possible quality, so what you get depends on the speed of your internet connection. Ultimately, it also depends on the quality provided by the uploaders themselves.

Pretty bad and annoying you can't change the quality to reduce it to save on data when you only want to listen to a podcast that has a video attached to it. The lack of a search feature on channels on desktop is annoying too. So far my experience has been mostly being annoyed, bad sign.

Your Idea sound pretty cool, did you know that we have a board where users can submit ideas to the development team. Here's an idea that I found that is similar to the data saving you mentioned. Give it a look and if it looks interesting give it an up vote. If enough users like an idea suggestion, we forward it to the devs for further development and consideration. If somehow it doesn't align with your exact vision, you can always submit your own ideas to the board through this link.
