How to see album cover in full screen instead of band picture?

I used to be able to click on the "Full screen" button (two diagonal arrows on the bottom-right of the application window) and see the cover art of the album I was currently listening in full screen and in a high resolution.

The full screen now most of the times shows a picture of the artist and maintains only a small square owith the album cover art in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Is there a way that I can get the album cover art in full screen again instead of a picture of the band?

This has been requested ever since they made the change and it doesn't seem like Spotify has any intention to bring it back.

Despite having a team of brilliant developers, the user interface of Spotify is surprisingly limited. The streaming service is known for its extensive library of songs, but its user interface fails to live up to the potential of the platform. The user interface is often confusing and difficult to navigate, making it difficult to access certain features. Furthermore, many of the advanced features that users expect from streaming services are either missing or too difficult to find. This makes it difficult for users to get the most out of the platform, which is a shame considering the massive potential of such a powerful and popular streaming service.

I also agree that making the album art larger or the primary focus of the full screen is much better than having a (often poor quality) image of the artist. People have been requesting this for years now. I take it by now Spotify has no intention of offering this feature

Full size coverart of the album please. And make them zoomable to check even more details. Forget about any datasavings if I don't want to save some data once in a while... that is one of the topics on my wantlist. 🤗
