I can't clear my entire play queue with one click.

Dear Spotify developers:

    From reading https://community.spotify.com/t5/Implemented-Ideas/Clear-play-queue/idi-p/11243, I assumed (particularly as a Premium subscriber) that I would be able to clear my entire play queue with one click. However, this clearly isn't the case, unless I'm missing something obvious (which, honestly, may well be what's going on):



As such, might I trouble y'all to either explain the correct process to me like I'm five years old; re-open this idea request for me and the legions of recent commenters who also can't seem to find the promised functionality; or acknowledge it as something that won't be fixed so that others don't spin their wheels looking for an answer that's both definitive and correct?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community, and welcome 🙂

Keep in mind that the "Clear" button will only appear if you have added songs to the queue. It will only clear the songs in the queue and not the Next Up section. 

In case you're still unable to see it, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app in order to get rid of any cache that might be causing issues.

I found a way that isn't mentioned anywhere within these threads!

• While in the queue, mouse-click the first song at the top of the list (not the Now playing song ); make sure to click in an area without text. You may have to expand your screen a bit horizontally.  All you are doing is highlighting the song.
• Next, just like a spreadsheet, hold the Shift button down and then select the last song. Now Right-Click anywhere in the highlighted area and select Remove from queue.
• Done!
