I don't have the crossfade option in my settings

I would like to to shorten the amount of time between songs on my playlist, so I know I need to adjust my crossfade. The problem is when I go to my profile and choose settings, playback is not offered as an adjustable option. I have Spotify Premium and use a PC and Google Pixel phone. The option isn't on either device.

Thanks so much for responding! The information in the article doesn't apply to me.  I don't have the playback or crossfade options in my settings. Please advise.
