Hey there

The issue with the desktop app is being looked into and is now labelled under "Ongoing issues"

It seems to be related to the latest Windows update.

You can go over here to track it's progress. You might wanna leave a vote and subscribe to the thread so you get updates early.

I'm pretty sure it will be cleared soon but I do apologize for the inconvenience.
