I want to use my headphone amp driver but if I do it skips songs.

I want to use my headphone amp driver but if I do it skips songs.

So here is the issue that I am having. I just got a set of reference headphones and need and amp to drive them. But I think because I am using the driver for the amp Spotify now just skips every single song on my playlists. Is there a way to solve this?

Hi @ReaverWall,

I'm here to try to help. Can you try to disable hardware acceleration in Settings? Here's how to do it, in case you don't know:

1. Click the Edit button at the top-left corner of the Spotify window, then click the Preferences option.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu at the center of the Spotify window, then select the Show Advanced Settings option.

3. Scroll to the bottom of this menu again, then click the button to the right of Enable hardware acceleration. Hardware acceleration is turned on when the button is green. Note that you will need to restart Spotify for your hardware acceleration changes to go into effect.

Feel free to let me know how it goes. 🙂

Cheers!

Sadly it was without result. It still just skips every song. An other ideas?
