Image not showing up to be uploaded

In short, I am trying to upload an image for a playlist cover. I've done it multiple times before. But now its downright impossible to do so because the image doesn't show up in my documents. I've downloaded the same image multiple times yet its as if I never did so.It doesnt appear regardless of which I folder I put it in. 

Basically: the image I've downloaded to upload for a playlist cover is not appearing in my documents, its as if I never downloaded it

Hi SwasBrigad,

It look like you got a local problem, missing a respond from your local IP to spotify servers, so I suggest you to:

1. Uninstall Spotify,  
2. Remove : C:/users/( username ) /appdata/roaming/spotify
3. Restart your computer
4. Check in: C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts, open hosts with notepad, removes all lines without "#"
5. Install spotify from here

I am still having the same problem.

I sent spotify to the recylce bin and then re downloaded from the link you sent and restarted my laptop. But not before editiing the file you told me edit. I then opened spotify, attempted to download an image as a playlist cover, and my image was nowhere to be found

Never mind, it appears I missed a line when fixing the file you’ve told to me to address.

Let me know if it work for you, if not, make sure that your image is in a format: .jpg like xxx.jpg the name of the picture you want to upload, if not, just one click on the name of the picture and change it from .xx to .jpg,
