Microsoft is forcing me to switch from Groove to Spotify.  I have 32,000 purchased songs on my local drive.  They show up under Local Files, but only a few are showing up under Artists, Albums and Songs.

WHY?

All worked fine on Groove... very frustrating!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @-_5xu23w2itr4

Local files don't show up under Artists/Albums/Songs sections, they are only for Spotify songs. Those songs have a dedicated section called "Local Files". But you can easily add them to your playlists the same way you add Spotify songs.

You can read more about local files functionality here.

This is the biggest flaw of Spotify and is making me consider moving over to another provider. The irony is that the Spotify "local files" page begins with "make Spotify your all-in-one music player" but it really isn't all-in-one since local files are separated from the rest of your music.

I totally agree. I am taking the advice of another and going to Google Play
