Local files unavailable after reinstall

My Question or Issue

Everytime I reinstall Spotify, about 50% of the local files I've added to some playlists become unavailable (grayed out) for no reason. The files haven't changed name or location. This has to be fixed ASAP. I have the latest version.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

Just to confirm, is this happening only when you reinstall the app on your PC?

On another note, we'd recommend taking a look at the solution shared for a similar issue in this thread. It's also a good idea trying a different network connection to see if the issue persists.
