Login issue on Lenovo Yoga Laptop

For the past two days I have experienced trouble with the "downloaded app" login screen not responding when login email and password are entered. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times with no luck. 

The app on my phone works and the website shows me logged in. Has there been history with Spotify not working on Lenovo laptops?

Is there a fix out there to get the downloaded desktop app to work?
