Lyrics too fast due to crossfade not being accounted for

My Question or Issue

I have noticed this on the desktop app, as the title says, but it's happening on ios as well.

As the song changes, the lyrics are going too fast, I believe this is because of crossfade and the algorithm doesn't account it. If you press on the seek bar back few seconds it will re-sync and show correctly.

Same thing on the Samsung TV app. Timeline gets out of sync with lyrics on. Love the lyrics feature as it helps me to practice for karaoke on my cruises...lol.

Music playback and everything else works perfectly fine, the lyrics work perfect for the first 15 seconds or so of the song and then they skip ahead by anywhere between 2 and 5 lines and then stay incorrect for the rest of the song!

I have tried uninstalling and resetting my tv but nothing has helped.

When i click on the website it just tell me
(An error has occurred, Try refreshing the page) and I do so but it doesnt change anything and the text stay there and it won't work

This is a persistent issue on the ROKU app, I haven’t noticed the same problem on the IOS app though. It’s like it is playing the lyrics in 1.25 speed and it’s out of sync the whole song. Very frustrating, considering this has been a known issue for more than 2 years.

Having the same issue on my Roku TV in 2024..... lyrics will come up way ahead of the song and will sit and the end of the lyrics until the audio is over. Sometimes it's like a 30 second delay.

This has been happening every single time on my TV aswell as a lot on my laptop. Not so much on my Iphone or my old android but it happens sometimes. For my TV it happens whenever a song plays, I have to resync my lyrics by rewinding a bunch but if I pick up my remote to change the volume it does it again
