Music does not play

I am a free account but I made another account to see if the one I've been using was just bugged and I still had the same issuing after signing it up to premium for free. My issue is that no song will play whenever I attempt to play a song/playlist/album etc nothing happens and the play Hotbar is essentially greyed out. I don't know if this is relevant information or not but if I click on my profile on discord it will say that I am listening to something when nothing is being played on my end. I tried using the Spotify app on my computer (Windows 10) and the web player on three different browsers, mobile still works as intended, however.
