I've been using spotify for a while now and without trouble, but last week the music being played started suddently skipping to either the song next to it in the playlist, or some random song from a "top 100 best new songs" kind of playlist that i never even looked at... Furthermore, even when the player is paused and I am not listening to anything, music will suddently start to play randomly. It's getting annoying to use the app, and the same issue occurs when using the phone app.
I tried looking throught parameters to somehow deactivate an option that would allow my music to be controled elsewhere, nothing changed and the only thing left is that spotify connect on "Web player (chrome)" that seems to be always active even when i'm not using the app actively (screenshot linked). To my knowledge, no Chrome spotify extension has ever been installed by me.
What's going on? Is there any way to stop this?

Hey!
With this kind of issue, it seems like someone might have gotten access to your account. Don't worry, there's some more info on this here:

You can log out of all devices, and change the password too.
I don't think it might be something else that is doing this to you.

I'll do that and see how it goes. Thanks.
I have thesame problem. I've logged out on all the devices more then once, just as changing my password. The problem goes away for a few months, but its come back a few times. How do I figure out what is going on? And how do I stop it?
Resetting your devices should get rid of the problem if it's not the first!
