Netflix app and Spotify desktop not working together

My Question or Issue

When opening the netflix app downloaded from the windows store spotify stops working. Specifically the songs stop playing and quickly cycle to the next song. To fix the problem I have to restart spotify and close netlfix, but as long at the netflix app is running in the background I have a problem with spotify. I have tried reinstalling already.
