Phone pauses music on desktop (Every time i get a notification)

So i have my OnePlus 6 connected to my bluetooth headseat (Primarily for phonecalls etc. during work hours) and at the same time, my headset is also connected to my Windows 10 laptop for music. 

Up until recently, this has worked flawlessly. But i have now noticed, that every time i grab my phone to reply to a text, receive notifications or in any other way interact with my phone - Then it pauses my music playing from my laptop.

I do not have Spotify open on my phone, but the "device broadcast" is enabled. 

How can i prevent my phone from pausing my music playing from desktop every time i get a notification??
