The menu item isn't availabe, I can't download any playlist due to the missing menu item. please help, thanks.
Hey @Sickboy_666
What device are you using Spotify on, and do you have a current Spotify Premium?
Normally you should be able to download any playlists you've made and followed. On desktop Spotify you'll have a small switch for downloading as well as the additional menu entry.
Looking forward to your reply 🙂
I have Premium and the problem occurs on the desktop version. after a click at the menu bar button I have no option to click on "import playlists". this menu button is simply not existing. Thanks.
Thank you for answering. 🙂
Where are you trying your import playlists from?
Keep me posted!
In the meantime Spotify explains to me that this menu button is cancelled. thanks for your help anyway.
Your issue still remains pretty strange for me and I'm not yet convinced by the fact the menu item is "cancelled", so I explain a few things a bit more thoroughly to make things understandable:
1. Offline Listening (download playlists):
Spotify allows Premium users to download playlists for in-app offline listening. That means you can take your favourite music to places with no internet. 🙂
Read this article on how you can download your playlists on different devices!
2. Local Files (importing music):
All Spotify users can import their local files that can also be added to playlists.
Refer to this article on how to get your local library to Spotify!
If neither of those is what you meant, could you explain a little further on what you're trying to do, where you're trying to import the playlist from and add a screenshot of where you expected to find the menu entry? 🙂
Looking forward to your reply!
Wow, that's very kind of you. But I only meant to import playlists from iTunes. that's not possible anymore. as you see in the photo there was the menu item "Playlists importieren". this menu item isn't active anymore. Thanks so much!
I got confirmation that the "Import playlists" feature has been removed from the desktop Spotify since version 1.0.74.
Your feedback has been passed on. 🙂
Have a nice day!
