Please fix chromecast with Spotify

I predominately use Spotify on my MacBook Air, however, I have had some issues over the past few days. I recently bought a Google Chromecast, and on desktop and browser, I cannot find my chromecast whatsoever on the devices list. If someone could please help me that would be great!

Hi, you can't stream directly to a chromecast on the desktop app. Google hasn't launched an API on computer yet.

You need to start music through :

• The Spotify web player (open.spotify.com) using Chrome brower (important) and the Cast button
• An Android phone using "Available Devices"

Then, when you started any sound, you can control your volume and music through any spotify app, including the desktop one 🙂
