Podcasts not marked finished; podcast length incorrect

My Question or Issue

I've been listening to a bunch of podcasts lately and frequently some episodes will not mark as listened even if I get to the very end.  Sometimes I can replay it and skip to the end to clear it from my list when viewing "Unplayed Episodes" but some are just stuck there.  I've noticed these episodes also have a stated duration longer than the actual runtime so this is likely the cause of the issue.  

An example: Episode "#73 Sandbox" of Reply All shows 29:15 in the runtime column, but the very last second of the episode is only 27:15 so it isn't being marked as complete.

Over time while listening through the entirety of a certain podcast from the start as I like the do, my feed gets clogged up with episodes I've already listened to.
