Progress bar no longer working on Windows Desktop app, when listening on iphone

My Question or Issue

On the desktop app, when playing audio through the iphone, the progress bar in the desktop app is not working at all.

If I try to drag it, the track restarts.

During playback the bar does not move.

Remaining time shows 00:00, and time elapsed shows 00:00

 

Why can I not control track progress on the desktop app, when listening on the iphone?  I can use all other controls in the desktop app when listening on iphone, just not track progress

 

If I close the iphone app, the progress bar works on the desktop app.

Hope you're doing great!

 

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!
