Proxy not working since 1.0.83.318

My Question or Issue

Update 1.0.83.318 broke the proxy function completely (on Windows 10).

I have set the proxy properly, tried a reinstall, cleared and re-entered the proxy.

I have to rely on a proxy and can't use spotify since the update.

Please fix this asap.

My solution: I left the company two years ago. Now my Spotify works fine. xDDD

My spotify is also working fine via vpn, that's not the issue. But the vpn is slow and I have a local socks to go around vpn for stuff, which don't need to be tunneled. As soon as proxy is defined in the client, I don't get a connection anymore.

The webclient is also rubbish, as it's not compatible with monitors not running at 60 Hz. Starting the webclient can lead to the monitor being completely decoupled from the laptop.
Not really sure if this a browser thing, but as the webclient is the only application, leading to this behaviour, it can only be spotify related. And this thread shows perfectly how capable the dev department is 😄

If the next time a customer is asking me, why a crucial function in our software is not working anymore, I just say, yeah we dropped the support for it, that you can still configure it, is just for confusing you... unbelievable
