Queue displaying random songs that don't play

The songs are not from the playlist I'm listening to. They show in the queue (sometimes repeating over and over) but never play. The actual next song is somewhere further down. I also can't remove songs from the queue either, but only sometimes.

Can you ensure the Smart Shuffle is off by following these steps? With Smart Shuffle on, Spotify adds tracks and personalized recommendations to your queue. 

If you've already followed the steps to disable it and it's still not working, I suggest trying these steps to refresh the app and clear out any cache that might be causing issues.
