Ran a Spotify ad blocker and now Spotify does not work.

My Question or Issue

Hi, as you may have read for my thumbnail, you must get the point already. So, when I ran the ad blocker, (this was like 3 months ago so I do not quite remember the ad blocker), my Spotify suddenly, stopped playing music, at all.  I also use the desktop version by the way. When I click on the play button, the music does not play whatsoever.  (Plus the ad blocker required me to open cmd and run some commands, so I think it may be a virus.). I've tried reinstalling Spotify and looking for other problems similar to this, but they just wont work. Any way I could fix this?

nvm, found solution, had to change some stuff in hosts file.
