Same song fragment repeats

My Question or Issue

The program is stuck on the same song fragment (which was not a song I'd ever heard before); when I change to another song or playlist, etc., Spotify reverts back to the same song fragment that is stuck.  Cannot get rid of this song. 

I have rebooted the computer and reinstalled the software to no avail.
