Saved artists not appearing on new device

My Question or Issue

I have just downloaded spotify on to my new laptop and logged into my existing account only to discover that the artists tab on my library is empty. All music appears to be under songs and albums which is all good and well but I search for music through the artists tab. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the result is the same. Surely this is a bug and not a design feature from a new update? if a song is saved and appears under both songs and also under albums then one would expect the saved music to also appear under the artist section. Im currently having to use my iPhone to control spotify through my laptop as that is the only way I can see the artist list.

Any advice or comments are appreciated

Got bad news for you mate, it works the way it's intended to now. Go search this forum or other places of the internet and find many, many furious people just as you.

Do NOT update the app on your iPhone. You're lucky to have a workaround atm. I wish I could roll back.
