Shift-click doesn't select multiple songs on playlist for desktop website app

I've added some albums to a playlist that I want to remove. However, I can only remove one song at a time. Holding Shift or any other button and clicking another song doesn't select all in-between like it does on every other interface on Mac or Windows ever.

This is expected behavior. In this case we suggest that you do this on the desktop app as it works to add multiple songs at one time there.

I have no need to install the desktop app since I can use the website. I don't care to manage yet another app considering how apps randomly use up too much CPU, memory, or drive access, and often scrape too much information from the computer and share with third parties who'll likely not store the data safely and will also share it around forever and cause me more spoof emails and spam.

The feature to select multiple songs to move around a playlist can be in the web app, Spotify needs to stop being lazy and implement the feature.
