Some song won't play and are missing info (WIndows 10 app)

I'm using the Windows 10 app and for some reason some tracks won't play. For example, in the "Hot Country by Spotify" playlist:

When the tracks highlighted are queued, Spotify just stops and the cover photo goes black. When I skip, the playlist starts again.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave, thanks for posting in the Community!

These tracks are actually videos! The big black box at the top that you have highlighted should be where the video will play, as well as where the cover photo is on songs. If you give it some time, it will load up and you should be able to watch them with no problem.

Hey Jollof, thanks for the reply.

I've left these tracks for over 30 minutes and they still won't play. Is there anyway I can exclude these from the playlist so I don't have to manually skip them?

You can make a new playlist and add all of the non-video songs to listen to, but I don't believe there is a way to automatically skip them.

Have you tried re-installing your Spotify application?

Yeah, I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times now. Still the same.

I don't really want to create a new playlist as I follow a few that are curated by Spotify and others and are updated regularly. Suppose I'll just have to live with it 🙂
