Songs added to Local files don't show up

I know this question has been asked a couple times and I've tried everything suggested. I have a couple songs in a folder for Local Files on my desktop, I've added 2 songs recently to the folder and no matter what I do I cant get the new songs to show up in Spotify. I've tried deleting Local-files.bnk, I tired deleting the index.dat, and when netiher of those worked I put them back. I've reinstalled Spotify and done pretty much everything else I can think of. Somehow I was able to get about 14 songs in my Local Files folder to Spotify but from then on everything I try adding wont switch over to Spotify, Also have tried turing off firewall, i heard that can cause issues.
