Songs sounding off

I have recently noticed that only songs on Spotify have been sounding strange. The only way I have learnt to fit this is by switching the audio output to another device and then switching back. I don't have the equaliser on and it happens regardless of if I have hardware acceleration on or not

In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This process will replace all damaged files that may be affecting the proper behavior of the app and ensure you're running the latest app version.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if the Web Player shows the same behavior or not?

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

The issue persists evil with a fresh reinstall of spotify and I'm using Spotify for Windows (64 bit) Version:1.2.35.663.gb699649e.However it doesn't happen with the web player

Thanks for your reply.

If you have a Premium account, check whether Audio normalization is enabled in your app's settings. If it is, try disabling it or changing the Volume level.
