Sound fades out when under a certrain volume threshold

Edit: Well I'm an **bleep**. While fiddeling around with my VoiceMeeter settings I accidently put a noise gate in place for the track I'm using for Spotify and didn't realize. Since I have my browser on another track it obviously didn't happened on the web app. 

After a fresh install of spotify I ran into an issue. When playing music on the desktop app the sound fades out into silence when I got the volume slider below ~20% or the volume itself goes quiet while changing the song. The song is still playing and I can get it back with increasing the volume. For now I can't use the desktop app to have low volume music playing in the background. WebApp is working perfectly fine. 

Allready did a clean reinstall and made sure the windows communication setting to mute apps is off.
