Spofity stops playing when there is no other sound

Hey guys, so this has been so frustrating for me. When I have Spotify's volume about 30% or less and there is no other sounds playing on my pc (twitch, youtube, discord, etc), it will just completley stop playing my music. If I raise my volume on Spotify, it never does this.It will continue playing my songs. I have checked the communications "do nothing" setting in my volume options and that has done nothing for me. I have tried just about everything for this. It is just so frustrating that my music stops when no other input is detected on my PC until something else starts playing. 

Please, if anyone has a solution to this, let me know.
