Spotify Battery life impacts on Win10

My Question or Issue:

I am using Spotify to play music only mode, the battery life is almost equal to view Netflix video streaming online. I am expecting a long battery life to embrace a whole day music event when over 8 hours and also a low impact on the power consumption when leave my unit under device modern standby states. May I have spotify to take a investigate?

The battery usage of the laptop will largely depend on the quality of music you're streaming with Spotify. Streaming music with the highest quality setting might drain more battery than streaming video from some websites. 

You can adjust these settings from the Spotify app > Settings > Audio Quality.

You can also download playlists for offline listening and switch on Offline Mode from settings. This way the app will play only content which was previously downloaded and shouldn't drain so much battery, as it's not connecting to the internet.
