So, I have had spotify premium for a couple of months, so I could set it up with my Amazon Echo Plus speaker. I've been able to play songs on my Echo Plus, my Samsung Galaxy S6 and my Desktop (Win10) without any issues. However, recently I've been having some issues with playing songs on my desktop. Songs won't load, and if they load they only play for 6 seconds - every time - and gives me the message "Can't play the current song". All devices are running on the same Wi-fi, and I can easily change from listen on my Echo Plus to my Samsung Galaxy S6. However, as soon as I change to my desktop, nothing happens.
Hi there!
There's a link to a solution that I often provide to other community members that are having issues with their Spotify desktop app, most of the time it has worked well for people who are having varying issues with the desktop app. This is it: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Desktop-Playlists-empty-after-update/td-p/4679818
Hopefully this will help you out!
Best wishes,
A
