Spotify Continues to Play After It's Paused

Dear to whom this may concern,

1. When ever I pause Spotify on my desktop (Win 10 OS), it automatically plays again when it's paused.
2. The pause time varies everytime (No less than 20 seconds and no more than 35 seconds).
3. This issue had never occured before.
4. I haven't yet completed a fresh re-install so I'll do that after this post.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app, like you said. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
