Spotify Desktop Client disconnected from the rest of the clients

My Question or Issue

The windows desktop client on one of the devices I am using often disconnects from the rest of the players - when it does that, I can not see that it is playing from the web player and the rest of my devices for example. It also won't scrobble the plays to last.fm. If I reinstall the app it becomes connected but it lasts only few days. I did several reinstalls, I disconnected and connected the last.fm but in the end it still disconnects at some point. Any ideas on how to fix that ?
