Spotify Desktop fails to load when AppData is folder redirected

My Question or Issue

The Spotify Windows desktop app fails to load after install when the appdata folder is pointed to a network location via folder redirection.  We are in a corporate environment and redirect the user's Roaming AppData to a central file server.  User's that have this disabled are able to load the app with no issues, while users that have that folder redirected have the app crash immediately on launch.
